We are VERY proud to announce that we have collaborated on a design with the artist Mike Dalzell, to create a limited run statue kit of one of the denizens of Ryse City, the fictional locale at the heart of his franchise A World Not So Far Away.
This project was a special one for us, for many reasons.
Firstly, it is the very first project of ours to debut at a Comic Con, and arguably, it was the largest Comic Convention in the UK, MCM London. We are incredibly honoured to have been able to work with Mike on this collaboration, and to bring his creature to life, so to speak. Secondly, it is one of very, very few collaborations that we are not under a Non-Disclosure-Agreement for, which we were also credited for our work on. We were finally able to loudly and proudly show off our work, and as far as it goes, there's not much more of a public setting to debut this sort of work at, than at a convention of that scale. It was an incredible journey to be a part of along-side Mike,, and we cannot thank him enough for partnering with us on this venture!
As you can see from the render above, this sculpture is incredible, and it was a pleasure to work on Mikes design to create something so unique for him.
The best part for you all, however, is that this kit is available exclusively from Mike at his webstore, or if you arre lucky enough to meet him in person at a convention, he will have a number of kits with him available for purchase. They ARE limited edition, so once they're gone, they won't be available to purchase anymore, so don't delay if you would liek to get your hands on one!
Please visit Mikes website, linked to the right of this text, if you wish to purchase one of these kits, some of his artwork, or just dive into the worlds he creates with his art!
We attended Wales Comic Con - Telford Takeover in May, and had an incredible time. It's always great to meet up with our friends, chat with some fellow artists, and to bump into some of you who follow us over on our social media accounts.
It's always lovely to be recognised by our work. It's also nice to be recognised FOR our work, of course, and the amazing talent that is Rob Paulsen (whose myriad voices you will know even if you somehow don't know the name!) made Lees entire convention when he recorded a thank you message for him when he was gifted our Throttle bust... in character!
These busts, (as well as the other Biker Mice) will soon be available to purchase as kits, directly from us (unfortunately there won't be a personalised message from Rob included with yours though).
There you will find our teams own designs, as well as some past commissions that we have been allowed to share with you all as well! Please drop in and have a look, there may be something you have been looking for!
